As time advances....Alvin Stewart is one charmed individual. With setbacks, economic downturns and Mother Time laid stubbornly at his feet, Al the trooper, Al the musician/songwriter, Al the author (comedian and showman) just thumbs his nose at them all.
A major set of "brass ones", that's what he has. Whenever it seems his detractors, his obstacles or even his naysayers seem poised to douse the lights out on his incredible journey, poof! Like magic. He comes back, rejuvenated, reinvented and reinvigorated ready to take on the world. And, rightly so. Why not?
He has an over abundance of talent and it should be shared with the rest of the world.
He is just one of those individuals who never says never...
May 30th, 2009, 7 pm at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood (on Cahuenga Blvd). That's his show date and it promises to be an experience.
Al has had many journey's through this wonderland that is the entertainment business. He is an accomplished songwriter who has written for a myriad of talented singers, making him the envy of so many.
He is one very funny comedian whose bawdy sense of humor, well...you get the picture. Not a show for adolescents.
As if none of this is enough, he's a novelist who's specialty is books about spy adventures. Alvin Stewart, "an artists for all reasons"!
